This position, which will be supervised by Emma Zang, Assistant Professor of Sociology and Biostatistics, is particularly well-suited to candidates who are considering pursuing a PhD in sociology, or a closely related disciplines, such as public policy, business, and demography.

Sociology Predoc: Implications of Remote-Work on the Younger Generations in the US

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The project is to understand the consequences of the massive transition to remote work during and post the pandemic, especially on parents, the younger generation, and children.

REQUISITE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong programming skills in Stata. Advanced coursework in causal inference and statistics. Previous research experience related to remote work, family, gender inequality, and experimental methods is preferred.
