Tobin Center Supports Pricing Nature Podcast

Part of our emerging climate portfolio, the Tobin Center is supporting Pricing Nature, a podcast that tells a story about the economics, politics, and history of carbon pricing, which many argue should play a critical role in any national climate policy. Pricing Nature features conversations with carbon pricing experts from government, academia, and civil society.

The Pricing Nature team has also published a curriculum supplement, found here. This document serves as a complement to the podcast, supporting lessons on carbon pricing and climate policy with discussion questions and relevant vocabulary.

"Pricing Nature exemplifies the kind of education and public engagement we should support as economists. I recommend using it in your classes, along with this curriculum supplement, to help students connect economic and political concepts with the way those concepts materialize in public policy discussions."
—Steven Berry, David Swensen Professor of Economics and Jeffrey Talpins Faculty Director of the Tobin Center for Economic Policy at Yale

We support Pricing Nature alongside our partners, the Yale Center for Business and the Environment, the Yale Carbon Charge, and the Carbon Pricing Leadership Coalition.
