Y-RISE Pre-Doctoral Fellow

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The Y-RISE Pre-Doctoral Fellow will support a range of rigorous research projects examining the effects of policy interventions when delivered at scale. All the interventions will focus on extending assistance to those historically underserved. This role will be flexible, requiring a range of skills from project development to quantitative analysis to academic writing. Projects will include focuses such as climate adaptation, mental health services, economic empowerment, and health services extension. Countries of focus are always growing, but currently include Bangladesh, Sierra Leone, India, Jamaica, and Nepal.

REQUISITE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Proficient in Stata. Professional-level English speaking and writing skills.

Preferred additional skills:

SurveyCTO, GIS (QGIS and/or ESRI suite of software including ArcGIS Online, Python, Arcade), R, other statistical and geospatial analysis software

Preferred additional languages:

Bangla/Bengali, Krio, Jamaican English
