Kate Aufhauser

Governor's Fellow

Kate Aufhauser is a Governors Fellow supporting the Office of the Governor, where she leverages capital projects to catalyze economic development and innovation ecosystems. Prior to joining the State, Kate worked in municipal finance at Goldman Sachs, smart city development with Alphabet’s Sidewalk Labs, and innovation strategy with real estate investment firm Jamestown LP. She began her career as a developer of sports and entertainment districts, including the Chase Center/Thrive City (San Francisco), UBS Arena (Long Island), Little Caesars Arena (Detroit), and Titletown at Lambeau Field (Green Bay).

Kate graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Yale University. She holds a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Kate enjoys hiking, skiing, and getting lost in new neighborhoods.
