Maria Clara Rodrigues is a Tobin Center / Economics Pre-Doctoral Fellow working for Professor John Eric Humphries on a series of eviction-related projects. She holds a B.A. in Economics with Honors from Stanford University, where she conducted research on human trafficking with the Human Trafficking Data Lab and the Brazilian Federal Labor Prosecution Office. Hailing from Rio de Janeiro, she is interested in the ways economic research can inform the design of policies and institutions to mitigate socioeconomic inequality, promote economic growth, and strengthen the rule of law.
