Nicole Hu

Nicole Hu is a Tobin Center / Economics Pre-Doctoral Fellow working for Professor Ahmed Mushfiq Mobarak at the Yale Research Initiative on Innovation and Scale (Y-RISE). She holds a B.Sc. in Mathematical, Computational and Statistical Sciences with a minor in Economics from Yale-NUS College, Singapore. Her interests broadly include development, public and labour economics as well as econometrics. In particular, she is currently exploring interdisciplinary perspectives on the history of development, impacts of technology on labour markets and inequality, machine learning and causal inference.
