Sarah Ullom-Minnich

Governor's Fellow

Sarah is a recent Master of Public Policy graduate from the Yale Jackson School for Global Affairs with a passion for data analysis and equitable economic development. She has applied these skills to research on workforce and economic realities supporting the City of New Haven and the Connecticut Office of Workforce Strategy. She was also previously a research assistant at DataHaven, where she was a co-author for the 2023 Community Wellbeing Indices.  

Before coming to Connecticut, Sarah worked with various organizations in creating local solutions to complex programs and advocating for community rights. Her past experiences include serving as a Community Organizational Development Volunteer with the Peace Corps in Kosovo, working in a long-term homeless shelter on the South Side of Chicago, and helping to expand Steps to End Poverty of McPherson County, an organization dedicated to ending the cycle of generational poverty through a relationship-oriented approach.  

Sarah holds a BA in Conflict Dynamics and Transformation from Juniata College. In her free time, she enjoys ultimate frisbee, hiking, and exploring New Haven’s vibrant restaurant scene.
