Alex Sanchez is a Pre-Doctoral Fellow at the Yale Research Initiative on Innovation & Scale (Y-RISE) under the supervision of Professor Mushfiq Mobarak. He received undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Philosophy from Minerva University. He then worked as a Psychology Pre-Doctoral Fellow, first at Harvard and then at Princeton. He subsequently completed the first year of Princeton's Psychology PhD program before voluntarily withdrawing to pursue a career in public policy research. He has worked on large-scale field experiments in the U.S., Bangladesh, and Benin, and primarily studies social norms, gender, and collective behavior change.
