Amelia Malpas

Faculty Supervisor: Jacob Hacker

Amelia Malpas is a Tobin Center / Center for the Study of American Politics (CSAP) Pre-Doctoral Fellow where she assists with Professor Jacob Hacker’s research on the American political economy. Originally from northern California, she graduated from Mount Holyoke College summa cum laude with a B.A. in Politics and Geography. She is broadly interested in the political causes and consequences of inequality in the United States, with a particular interest in these dynamics as they apply to economic inequality and the contemporary Democratic Party.
