Carmen Arbaizar is a Pre-Doctoral Fellow working with Professor Michael Peters. She holds a double bachelor in Economics and International Studies from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. She also hold a MSc in Economics from University College London. Prior to joining the Tobin Center she worked at Veltha, an international research centre committed to tackle climate change settled in Brussels, the Spanish Ministry of Foreign affairs and assisting professors at CEMFI and UC San Diego. Her interests include how labor markets respond to different types of shocks, especially those related to economic integration and technological change, as well as on how jobs impact people’s well-being and social welfare.
