Christina Ramsay
Christina Ramsay is the Director of Policy Engagement and Analytics at the Health Care Affordability Lab. In this role, she helps translate the Lab's rigorous academic research into actionable policy insights and injects timely, evidence-based analysis into policy and public discourse.
Prior to joining the Tobin Center, Christina was the Program Officer for Policy at the Commonwealth Fund, where she informed federal and state policymakers with the research conducted by the Fund and its grantees. Previously, Christina served as a legislative assistant for U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen on health issues, as well as disability, nutrition, and Social Security policy. Earlier in her career, she was the senior program associate for the Commonwealth Fund’s Controlling Health Care Costs and Advancing Medicare programs, where she was responsible for managing grants, tracking policy developments, and synthesizing research into key points and data visualizations.
Christina holds a B.S. in Psychology with a concentration in Neuroscience from Yale University and an M.P.H. in Health Policy from the Yale School of Public Health.
