Emily Radel is the Director of Operations, Health Policy at the Tobin Center for Economic Policy where she supports global strategies, implementing special initiatives and events with operational expertise, and manages a broad portfolio of health research projects and related policy engagement. Within the health vertical, her work includes strategic assessment and planning; development and oversight of internal operations including human resources, finances, and IT; establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with funders, partner academic institutions, external vendors, and other departments within Yale to ensure objectives are met; coordinating research dissemination; and managing grants and resources.
Prior to joining the Tobin Center, Emily spent a decade working in applied microeconomic consulting where she built an intellectual property practice with particular focus on pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and health care matters. She then co-founded a brand activation company in the technology and events space.
Emily holds a BA in Economics and Business Management from Washington University in St. Louis, MO.
