Shagufta Ahmed
Senior Policy Fellow
Shagufta Ahmed is currently on leave from the White House Office of Management and Budget’s Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA). Shagufta has spent nearly 15 years overseeing White House review and coordination of draft regulations and data collections for Federal agencies including the U.S. Department of Education, the U.S. Department of Treasury, the Financial Stability Oversight Council (FSOC), and other federal financial agencies. At OIRA, Shagufta also serves as the U.S. Delegate to the OECD’s Regulatory Policy Committee. Shagufta is leading the Tobin Center’s efforts to engage with the federal regulatory system.
