Sriteja Reddy Burla

Sriteja Burla, PhD, is a Health Policy Senior Data Analyst at the Tobin Center for Economic Policy, supporting Dr. Zack Cooper's healthcare research projects. Specializing in applied microeconomics and industrial organization, Sriteja's current focus is on competition in hospital markets, particularly the behavior of for-profit hospitals. Previously at the Center for Health Policy Research and Ethics and the National Bureau of Economic Research, he explored value-based payment models, telehealth, and Medicaid perinatal care. Sriteja's published work includes articles in journals such as the Journal of General Internal Medicine and Population Health Management. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from George Mason University and a B.E.(Hons.) in Electronics Engineering from BITS Pilani, India
