Taylor Spurlock
Taylor began her career as a high-school science teacher and since leaving the classroom has worked at three youth-serving nonprofits. Most recently, Taylor worked at Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC where she managed partnerships with multinational corporations and NYC public high schools and paired corporate volunteers with students to work on job and career-readiness skills through mentorship programming. Taylor has spent her career working to lift up people and communities through skills development and expanded access to education opportunities and is excited to continue to do that work as a Governor's Fellow.
Taylor holds a Master of Public Health from the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. In her free time, she enjoys running, gardening, and trying new restaurants with friends and family.
